Hey Friends,
In case you were wondering, I’m beaming right now. My face hurts in that way that only smiles can provoke. I had a wonderful day at work. I’m getting to do all kinds of interesting things, but best of all, I’m working on a surprising amount of graphic stuff. Maps and charts have got to be the coolest. Speaking of coolest, today was payday and Mica and I went out to this place called the brick store pub and drank delicious beer while we scarfed fried food. And then we went home. Let me just say here that Mica’s self-restraint is marveling. When we got home I saw that a letter had come from no other than two of the best illustrators out there- Phillip and Erin Stead. I haven’t posted a letter in awhile and what a way to reignite my inspiration than this marvelous addition to the collection. So happy day everyone, the world is pretty okay and at least we got people out there like the Steads making their art.
